Job Summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.

About the Role

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems with associated equipment
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning parts as needed
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and perform adjustments as required
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Liaise with production staff to understand their needs and provide support as required

Requirements

  • Completion of a Red Seal valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift and carry objects up to 100 lbs and work at heights
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime as required

Working Conditions

  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Exposed to noise, dust, and other environmental hazards
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Compensation

  • $35/hour plus 1.5x pay for overtime on weekdays and 2.0x pay for overtime on weekends
