Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Richmond Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing mental health services to children and youth in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to children and youth with emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license - Provisional
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) eligible
  • Strong community collaborative skills and good knowledge of child relational/developmental/psychotherapeutic theory and practice.
