Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek & District Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and making informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Make informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Current Level C CPR certification
  • Two years recent medical/surgical experience
  • Successful completion of Chemotherapy training within one month of appointment
  • Two years recent ER experience, including experience with chronic venapuncture patients
