Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Chef-TIC to join our culinary team at CB Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing food items, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food products to meet company standards and customer expectations
  • Ensure accurate and efficient food preparation, presentation, and plating
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to achieve high-volume production and meet customer demand
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, management, and customers
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes, new recipes, and culinary trends
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education an asset
  • Minimum 6 months of culinary experience; Red Seal certification through ITA or current enrollment in the program an asset
  • Food Safety Certification; ability to obtain a Gaming License
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment
