Job Title: Dry Cleaning and Laundry Worker

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning and Laundry Worker to join our team at Nettoyeur Dumas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines. They will also hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons
  • Assemble and bag finished articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads
