Job Title: Dry Cleaning and Laundry Worker

We are seeking a skilled Dry Cleaning and Laundry Worker to join our team at Nettoyeur Dumas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines, as well as hand-folding and bagging shirts, sheets, and other articles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines
  • Hand-fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry-cleaned and laundered articles
  • Assemble and bag finished articles
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles
Work Environment:

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring you to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You will work in a dry cleaning and laundry establishment, surrounded by the sights and smells of cleaning and laundry operations.

Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
