Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented labourer to assist in the operation of our dry cleaning and laundry equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling heavy loads, working in a physically demanding environment, and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Dry Cleaning and Laundry Equipment: Safely operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
  • Hand Fold and Bag Articles: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Finish and Assemble Articles: Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Check and Touch Up Articles: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that our establishment standards are met, and use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and multitasking are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available to start immediately and commit to a regular schedule.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience in a similar role is an asset.
