Job Summary

The Dry Cleaning and Laundry Labourer will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines, as well as hand-folding and bagging shirts, sheets, and other articles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying machines to ensure high-quality cleaning and finishing of garments.
  • Hand-fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to meet establishment standards.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure they meet establishment standards.
  • Use hand-held steam irons to touch up finished garments and other articles.
Work Environment

The Dry Cleaning and Laundry Labourer will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
