About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ski Instructor to join our team at Big White Ski Resort Ltd. As a Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality ski lessons to guests of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques to guests.
  • Staff Training: Train and develop the skills of our ski staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events throughout the resort.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities that meet the needs and interests of our guests.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on guest feedback, staff performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Leadership: Lead and instruct groups and individuals in ski lessons, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Guest Support: Assist guests with special needs, providing a personalized and inclusive experience.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance Certification.
  • Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Be fluent in English.
  • Availability: Be available to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
