About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowboarding Instructor to join our team at Big White Ski Resort Ltd. As a Snowboarding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to guests of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Deliver snowboarding lessons to individuals and groups, focusing on safe and effective techniques.
    • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train and mentor junior instructors to enhance their teaching skills.
    • Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
  • Event Coordination
    • Assist in the planning and execution of snowboarding events and competitions.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Guest Services
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns.
    • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications
    • Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI) Certification.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a snowboarding instructor.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
