We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Reporting Lead to join our team at goeasy Ltd.

This is a unique opportunity for a Financial Consolidation Manager to play a crucial role in our corporate head office accounting and consolidation of the Canadian businesses.

  • Lead the month-end financial statement close process, including consolidation, Canadian legal entity reporting, and management reporting processes.
  • Develop procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of consolidation.
  • Manage and ensure that proper processes are in place for the timely and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.

As a Corporate Reporting and Consolidation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing corporate accounting, including payroll and treasury accounting, among others.

This role will also involve performing balance sheet and income statement analysis, coordinating interactions with external auditors, and providing support in preparing quarterly and annual regulatory requirements.

You will be an essential part of our team, working closely with the CEO/CFO and internal audit team to identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of controls.

Requirements:

  • CPA, CA designation or equivalent
  • Experience in public accounting is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of experience in finance role, including recent experience in accounting and consolidation

We offer a flexible work program that provides the opportunity to work three days onsite per week, between our Mississauga and downtown Toronto office.
