Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations to ensure high standards of contract delivery in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner. The Facilities Management Lead will oversee planning, estimating, procurement, and financial responsibilities to optimize cost/benefit.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of asset management within facility maintenance, repairs, and operations. Experience with project management concepts, related processes, principles, and their application is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure that all contract requirements are met, including quality, safety, contractor agreements, procurement, cost control, scheduling, and estimating management processes and procedures.
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and resource constraints.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the project team, fostering a cohesive and sustainable team environment that promotes high performance and employee development.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract delivery, ensuring compliance with Company Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety programs.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Professional Engineering License (Highly desired)
  • Experience: 5-10 years industry experience; previous facility management or supervisory experience required
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of asset management, project management concepts, standard engineering software proficiency, CMMS applications specific to DataStream (MP2) / INFOR (EAM), excellent analytical and communication skills
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an office and field environment, with minimal travel required. Occasional holidays, nights, weekends, and working from heights may be necessary.

A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
