Job Summary

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of facilities. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain hallways, floors, and stairs, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for occupants.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse from facilities.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and perform regular safety checks.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative and judgment to resolve issues effectively.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; on-the-job training provided.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work per week. You will be working in an office building or educational institution setting, which may involve exposure to dust, dirt, and other environmental hazards. However, proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure your safety and well-being.
