About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Operations Manager to join our team at VM's Art of Installation Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of retail staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimize store layouts, and inform product offerings.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement strategies to improve store operations, including inventory management, supply chain optimization, and process improvements.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute in-store promotions, events, and visual merchandising initiatives that drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Financial Management: Oversee store budgets, monitor sales and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback, and implementing solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving operational efficiency.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Proficient in market research and analysis, with experience in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
