Job Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator will assist the Purchasing team in procuring raw materials, tools, and supplies to support engineering and production. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and experienced in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a network of reliable suppliers and perform cost analysis
- Assist in sourcing, quotations, and timely order placement
- Monitor order delivery timelines and resolve any discrepancies or delivery issues
- Expedite and facilitate the flow of materials to and from various departments
- Work with vendors/suppliers to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate files regarding pricing, order confirmations, and vendor-related issues
- Continuously improve processes and offer solutions to best support the organization
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Purchasing experience
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including MS Office programs and ERP applications
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, great attendance, and professionalism
