About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at S1 FOOD SERVICE INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a safe and healthy manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
