At Alberta Inc., we are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team. This includes planning and organizing daily operations, determining and establishing office procedures and routines, and overseeing the classification and rating of occupations.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a transportation company or shipping company or agency. You will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, opening and distributing mail and other materials, and scheduling and confirming appointments.

You will also be responsible for answering telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, answering electronic enquiries, and advising senior management. Additionally, you will oversee payroll administration, perform data entry, and conduct performance reviews.

The successful candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, and have the ability to multitask. You will also have the ability to work independently, have attention to detail, and work with minimal supervision.

We offer a permanent position with 32 hours per week, parking available, and work in English. If you are a quick learner and have the ability to adapt to new situations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
