  • Financial Management: Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise and authorize the return of merchandise to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and meet business needs.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize losses.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient and effective store operations.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Store Operations: Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail store environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
