Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team to meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Authorize Payments: Ensure accurate and timely payment processing for sales transactions.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate the ordering and receipt of merchandise to meet sales demands.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and optimal sales coverage.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and sell merchandise to meet sales targets.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient stock management.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including performance reviews and coaching.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
