Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team at Canadian Tire Gas+. As a key member of our store staff, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of retail sales associates to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payment requests for merchandise and other store expenses.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to purchase and receive inventory in a timely manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Sell Merchandise: Demonstrate a passion for sales and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Ensure accurate inventory management, including ordering and receiving merchandise.
- Supervise Staff: Mentor and develop staff members to achieve their full potential.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of retail management experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
