Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions Full time

Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Manager and USA HR team in various aspects of human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Source and collaborate with managers to onboard new employees
  • Manage shortlisted applicants and coordinate interviews for internal managers
  • Complete background checks on selected employees
  • Present offer to candidates and collect all onboarding paperwork

Employee Relations and Compliance:

  • Assure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Health & Safety initiatives to assure compliance
  • Working within HR legislation to assure compliance throughout all departments

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate new hire training
  • Prepare recognition communications
  • Ensure up to date employee files

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Engage with new HR programs
  • Speak with bilingual employees at production level across Canada (This will include travel to various locations across Canada – less than 15%)

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • University or College Education, preferably within an HR focused course
  • 3-5 Years HR Generalist Experience, with experience hiring production staff members

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual French/English to speak with French employees
  • Strong understanding of Ontario employment laws and best practices
  • Ability to multi-task and work closely with management when required
  • Strong communication skills to roll out new processes when required
  • Ability to manage projects and timelines
  • CHRP/CHRL designation

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role working 3 days remote.
