Job Summary

The Institute for Performance and Learning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our organization, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, manage the full recruitment life cycle, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including benefits, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage and administer our group benefits program, including health and dental benefits, life insurance, and other employee benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including employment standards, health and safety, and workers' compensation.
  • HR Systems and Processes: Develop and maintain HR systems and processes to support the effective management of HR functions, including time and attendance, performance management, and employee data management.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reporting and analytics to support business decision-making, including HR metrics, employee engagement, and retention.
Requirements
  • Education: College or university diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Certifications: CHRP or CHRL designation, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, MS Outlook), excellent attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
