Dynamic Medical Team Opportunity

Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) is seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join its dynamic medical team. As a family and patient-centred bilingual regional hospital, we provide essential services to the residents of Prescott-Russell and the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient care to patients in a rotation with other Hospitalists
  • Work on a flexible schedule, including on-call shifts and rotations
  • Collaborate with a team of 29 Hospitalists to cover various hospital groups
  • Hold an independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
About Our Hospital

HGH is a proud member of The Atlas Alliance, which has enabled us to adopt the Epic Health Information System and its electronic medical record (EMR). This has resulted in increased efficiency and patient safety.

We have 100 inpatient beds and provide more than 40 specialized medical clinics for residents of Prescott-Russell and surrounding region.

Our hospital has undergone a major redevelopment project, transforming our local community hospital into a full-service regional hospital thanks to a $200 million investment in infrastructure, medical equipment, and cutting-edge technology.
