Overview of the Job11:59 Bar:Café is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a skilled leader to oversee our culinary operations. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for directing the preparation and presentation of food in our restaurant, bar, bistro, and café settings.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include paid time off, learning/training opportunities, and team building activities.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate costs of supplies and food items, labor costs, and maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff, and supervise their activities.
- Create new recipes, instruct cooks on food preparation, and plan menus to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and cook meals for events such as banquets, and manage staff to meet customer demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

- Familiarity with French, Thai, European, and Mediterranean cuisine.
- Experience working with fish and seafood, meat, poultry, and game, stocks, soups, sauces, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and mushrooms.
