Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
Culinary Leadership:
We are seeking an experienced Master Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at W Toronto. As the leader of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all food preparation areas, including banquets, room service, restaurants, bar/lounge, and employee cafeteria. Your expertise will ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas.
- Establish goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
- Communicate the importance of safety procedures, detailing procedure codes, ensuring employee understanding of safety codes, monitoring processes and procedures related to safety.
- Manage department controllable expenses including food cost, supplies, uniforms, and equipment.
- Participate in the budgeting process for areas of responsibility.
- Know and implement the brand's safety standards.
Candidate Profile:
To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area. Alternatively, you can have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 4 years of experience in the same field.
