About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Facilitator at Upper Canada Child Care. As a Community Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in program delivery, ensuring operational requirements are met, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for children aged 0-12 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in program delivery, ensuring operational requirements are met in compliance with internal and external guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the organization's vision, mission, and guiding values.
  • Perform general housekeeping and classroom duties, including meal/snack preparation, toileting, diapering, dressing, and supervising children in various settings.
  • Use computer systems and programs, with occasional exposure to computer terminals.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
  • Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required).
  • Basic understanding of special needs and knowledge of the developmental needs of children, with demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge.
  • Physical and emotional stamina to effectively supervise children in various settings.
