About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Budget Renovations Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, ensuring a precise fit and smooth finish.
  • Taping and Jointing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for drywall installation projects, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a dusty environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.

Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure a high level of attention to detail in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Physical Ability: Possess the physical ability to work in a demanding environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for working with colleagues and clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
