  • Taping and Jointing: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Compound Application: Apply successive coats of compound to seams and joints, sanding to a smooth finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, ensuring a dust-free environment.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a dusty environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
