About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at CAMMY HOMES LTD. as a Drywall Finisher. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Compound Smoothing: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
