About the Role

Budget Renovations Limited is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, ensuring a precise fit and smooth finish.
  • Taping and Jointing: Apply successive coats of compound, sand seams and joints, and tape over joints using a taping machine.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including cutting and installing metal corner beads.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for drywall installation projects.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a dusty environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
