About the Role

We're seeking a talented Data Engineering Developer to join our team at Intact Lab. As a key member of our team, you'll participate in the development and delivery of efficient, effective, and secure data flows. You'll work closely with your team to design and implement data quality controls, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and deliver efficient, effective, and secure data flows
  • Participate in the development of data quality controls
  • Learn best practices with the use of cutting-edge technologies
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, Earth sciences, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for Winter5 (January 6 – April 25)
  • Available to work from the office 2 days a week (and 3 from home)
  • Must be returning to school in Summer or Fall following your internship
  • Enthusiasm to explore data engineering and cloud technologies
  • Understanding of data and various database systems
  • Understanding of the challenges in Big Data
  • Understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Good knowledge of Python programming language
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of PySpark and AWS is a plus
  • Bilingualism is ESSENTIAL (French and English)
