About the Role

We're seeking a talented Data Engineering Developer to join our team at Intact Lab. As a key member of our team, you'll participate in the development and delivery of efficient, effective, and secure data flows. You'll work closely with your team to design, build, and deploy data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data is available to support business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data quality controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, Earth sciences, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for the duration of the co-op
  • Available to work from the office 2 days a week and 3 days from home
  • Must be returning to school in Summer or Fall following the internship
  • Strong understanding of data and various database systems
  • Knowledge of Python programming language and SQL
  • Knowledge of PySpark and AWS is a plus
  • Bilingualism is essential (French and English)
