Duration: 3 Month Contract (strong possibility of extension)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual SDET with strong expertise in Python and SQL to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing automated tests, validating data, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test plans for various product features
  • Plan, build, and execute automated test scripts
  • Implement and maintain an automated regression test suite
  • Analyze user needs to plan testing and quality assurance requirements
  • Identify quality issues and create detailed test reports
  • Review software bug reports and highlight problem areas
  • Validate data from source to target, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (architects, developers, etc.) and external stakeholders as needed to resolve issues
Qualifications
  • Bilingual – Fluent in French and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles
  • 2+ years of Python development experience, including automating test scripts
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL queries, T-SQL development, and SQL stored procedures
  • Strong experience in validating data from source to target
  • Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
