About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our Food Service team at K&K SONS 1 HOLDINGS INC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures: Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and check assembly of trays.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Experience and Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and ability to work in a team.
