Job Summary

AIMS 5 HOLDINGS INC is seeking a skilled Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our menu offerings, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Ensure that customers receive excellent service and have a positive experience
  • Health and Safety
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
    • Ensure that staff adhere to food safety and handling procedures
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Food Safety Certificate
    • Safe Food Handling certificate

Working Conditions

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.
