Elevate your sales career with a challenging role that drives growth for our Canada Dealer brands. As our Director, National Sales, you'll develop and execute strategies to boost sales and margin goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing national accounts, building key relationships, and achieving sales targets.

The primary location for this role will be in Ontario, Canada. You'll report directly to the VP Sales and Marketing Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the Dealer channel, identifying market opportunities and leveraging the entire Dealer brand portfolio.
  • Drive sales growth and manage key account target sales and margin.
  • Assist with business development projects, evaluating, analyzing, and formulating strategies for business growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve targets.
  • Foster customer relationships and build strong, long-lasting connections.
  • Qualify new opportunities and move them through the sales cycle.
  • Manage P&L responsibility for the Dealer Channel.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date on category-specific landscapes and trends.
  • Work with the VP Sales to provide accurate, ongoing sales forecasts for national accounts.
  • Develop and roll out new programs to market.
  • Establish and track sales metrics to facilitate effective business management.
  • Coordinate weekly management meeting preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Channel Marketing Manager to develop merchandising and elevated Dealer programs.
  • Analyze and review sales trends by account and provide regular updates to the VP Sales.
  • Work with the VP Sales to develop and prepare annual sales targets for national accounts, by region/rep by brand.
  • Coordinate trade show and customer meeting event activity.
  • Develop and manage dealer training programs.
  • Embody the Six for Success: Be trustworthy, Commit to your team, Listen to understand, Serve your customer, Prepare and plan, Deliver the result.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a business or related field is required.
  • 10 years' experience in a sales leadership role.
