About Beem Credit Union

Beem Credit Union, a leading financial institution in BC, is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our team at the Merritt Branch. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and service strategies to increase member participation levels and ensure Beem is the primary financial institution for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and guidance to your team to create branch campaigns that promote Beem products and services
  • Grow business in the community by building relationships with centers of influence
  • Maintain high levels of member satisfaction and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Coach team members to expand and maintain member relationships
  • Actively engage in business building in the community and create growth opportunities for the organization
  • Manage branch security and safety, adhere to corporate policies and procedures, and manage controllable expenses and branch budget

Requirements:

  • University degree in a related field and Associate of the Credit Union Institute designation or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lean White Belt certification
  • Years of leadership/management experience in the financial services sector
  • Knowledge of employment laws, strategic management practices, and accounting principles and practices
  • Proven sales and service experience in the financial industry
  • Comprehensive understanding of credit products and procedures
  • Knowledgeable in full range of investment products
