About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Supervisor, Member Services at the Merritt Branch.

You will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in leading the team and implementing sales and services strategies to support the branch goals.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive team environment and take an active role in career development activities.

This is a full-time position based in the Merritt Branch, which is located in the heart of Nicola Valley, BC.

Merritt is a fantastic community with a slower pace of life, yet still close to larger cities like Vancouver and Kelowna.

The area offers plenty of sunshine year-round, excellent schools, parks, recreational facilities, and great economic opportunities.

Key responsibilities
  • Active involvement in working with other channels (online, Member Service Centre, etc.) in support of servicing members
  • Oversee branch security as it relates to safety, premises, and fire alarms
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures
  • Administer cash holdings within the control of the branch
  • Provide bi-weekly coaching to your team
  • Assist the Branch Manager in managing controllable expenses and branch budget
