Operations Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at SBS Expedited Services Ltd. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and providing guidance and support to our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans: Create and implement plans to prioritize tasks, optimize workflows, and improve productivity.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to help team members develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained, ordered, and stored.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and Report Performance: Track and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
