Job Description

Brandt is seeking a skilled Customer Account Manager to enhance the growth and development of our product support program. As a key player, you will collaborate with the Sales, Parts, Service, and Branch managers to execute and develop product support sales growth and after-sales support with designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop New and Maintain Existing Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives of designated accounts.
  • Account Strategy Development: Develop, coordinate, and execute account strategies for designated customers, ensuring seamless customer experiences within Brandt and with our OEM partners.
  • Liaison and Customer Support: Act as a liaison for designated customers, providing guidance on products, tools, and resources available to minimize breakdowns and increase uptime when breakdowns occur.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Provide fleets with guidance on products, tools, and resources available to minimize breakdowns and help them collaborate with Brandt resources to increase uptime when breakdowns do occur.
  • Guidance and Education: Coach and educate customers on the Brandt and OEM resources available to aid them in fleet management.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Collaborate with the Director of Customer Support to ensure fleet enrollment into Paccar programming where it adds value, provide feedback, and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Fleet Data Analysis: Leverage fleet data, such as safety, fuel usage, and cost per mile of operation, to help influence buying decisions and recommendations.
  • Campaign and Recall Support: Work with designated accounts and Brandt service departments to ensure completion of campaigns and recalls in a timely manner.
  • New Truck Delivery Strategy: Assist with the creation and execution of new truck delivery strategy and processes for designated fleets, including product demonstrations and walk-arounds.
  • Truck Sales Support: Support truck sales by providing knowledge of Brandt and Paccar tools and resources.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Trucking Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the trucking industry and fleet operations is essential.
  • Fleet KPIs and Influence: A strong understanding of fleet KPIs and how to influence them is crucial.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Ability to build strong customer relationships, maintain relationships with key customers at all levels, including executive-level managers.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Organization and Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to work well under time pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel as needed and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to use reporting to effectively aid in finding solutions.
