Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Orchid Nail & Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a high-quality nail care experience.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees through language training, skills training, and mentorship programs.
  • Recruit and support Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities through targeted hiring initiatives and mentorship programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and government agencies to promote diversity and inclusion.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to train and develop staff to meet business objectives.
