Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Orchid Nail & Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of nail technicians to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked salon
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of nail technicians, ensuring timely completion of tasks and high-quality results
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 nail technicians, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Support for Persons with Disabilities:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, providing awareness training to employees, and applying accessible and inclusive recruitment policies.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

You will participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs and supporting their social and labour market integration.

Support for Youths:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, offering on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Support for Veterans:

You will participate in government or community programs that support Veterans, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them transition into the civilian workforce.

Support for Indigenous People:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them achieve their career goals.

Support for Mature Workers:

You will participate in government or community programs that support mature workers, offering phased retirement options, mentorship, and coaching to help them transition into retirement.

Support for Visible Minorities:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, offering mentorship programs, diversity and cross-cultural training, and hiring policies that discourage discrimination.
