Nail Salon Supervisor Job Description

Orchid Nail & Spa is seeking a skilled Nail Salon Supervisor to join our team. As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nail salon, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the nail salon.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized salon.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Supervision:

You will be responsible for supervising 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities and contributing to the success of the nail salon.

Support for Persons with Disabilities:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities. This includes providing awareness training to employees, applying accessible and inclusive recruitment policies, and facilitating access to community resources and services.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

You will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assisting with their immediate settlement needs and supporting their social and labour market integration.

Support for Youths:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offering on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Support for Veterans:

You will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them transition into the civilian workforce.

Support for Indigenous People:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offering mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Support for Mature Workers:

You will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers, offering phased retirement options, mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them transition into retirement.

Support for Visible Minorities:

As a Nail Salon Supervisor, you will participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities, offering mentorship programs, diversity and cross-cultural training, and hiring policies that discourage discrimination.
