Strategic Project Lead for Transit Infrastructure Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Yonge North Subway Extension Office. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the successful execution of the YNSE project. Your expertise will be crucial in managing project interfaces between multiple construction contracts, identifying potential issues and risks, and ensuring proper documentation and implementation of decisions made through the project governance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction and guidance to project activities to ensure coordination and successful overall project delivery
  • Managing project-wide processes, initiatives, and strategies to achieve project objectives
  • Ensuring effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, business partners, and external agencies to define requirements and develop project implementation plans
  • Preparing presentations and reports for executives and other stakeholders
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring all conditions are implemented in project contract documents

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Engineering or Architecture, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in progressive project management, including large-scale transit projects
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and management skills to motivate teams and set high standards
  • Advanced knowledge of project management practices, including work planning, monitoring, and evaluation expertise
