We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at RhynoCare in the Lindsay area.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans to meet the changing needs of residents.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans.
  • To work effectively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • To participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with others in an effective, compassionate, and supportive manner.
  • Respect for each resident's individuality and awareness of their need for self-respect and privacy.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards influencing the operation of long-term care facilities.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical and dental coverage, retirement savings, and paid time off.
