About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Sales and Inventory Management
    • Set up and maintain displays of retail parts and accessories to ensure a visually appealing and organized store environment.
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit sales.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and control systems to ensure timely restocking and minimize stockouts.
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide expert advice on the use and suitability of goods or parts, ensuring that customers receive the right products for their needs.
  • Order Processing and Fulfillment
    • Prepare and track work orders to ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories.
    • Process requisition orders to replenish stock and maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials to ensure accurate storage and organization.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
    • Maintain a high level of hand-eye coordination and attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of transactions and inventory management.
    • Work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and varying levels of physical activity.
    Requirements and Qualifications
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required.
      • Will train and develop skills in parts sales and inventory management.
    • Personal Qualities and Skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service.
      • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
      • Organized and detail-oriented to maintain accurate records and inventory levels.
      • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
    Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week. The language of work is English.
