Parts Counter Clerk

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Parts Sales and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure that parts are properly stocked and displayed.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and be able to advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records on inventory control systems and prepare work orders as needed.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and track work orders, and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Receiving and Shipping: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed.
- Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical activity, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.
- Work Conditions: The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on meeting customer needs and ensuring efficient operations.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customer needs are met.
- Flexibility: Be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain accurate records and stay organized in a busy work environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
