About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Display and Merchandising: Set up visually appealing displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase our products in a way that attracts customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they leave the store satisfied.
  • Product Knowledge: Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts, providing expert recommendations to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records on our inventory control system, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work Orders: Prepare and track work orders, ensuring that all necessary information is included and deadlines are met.
  • Requisitions: Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, ensuring that our inventory remains stocked and up-to-date.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed.

  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical activity, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
