We are seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Parts Sales and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure that parts are properly stocked and displayed.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and be able to advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records on inventory control systems and prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
- Shipping and Receiving: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed.
- Work Conditions: The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Physical Capabilities: The role requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized: Maintain accurate records and stay organized in a busy sales environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
