Job Summary

GROVEHILL INVESTMENTS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 38 to 40 hours per week
